Accepting these terms

By using Tareloom or submitting a review, you agree to these terms, the Review Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 16 years old to submit a review.

What Tareloom is

Tareloom is a community platform where individual users share first-hand experience with products they have used, supported by their own photos. Every review is read by a moderator before it is published.

• Tareloom is not a store. We do not sell, ship, or handle orders, returns, or refunds.
• Reviews are the opinions and experiences of individual reviewers, not statements by Tareloom. Moderation helps keep reviews honest, but we cannot guarantee that every review is complete or accurate.
• The reference image on a review page only helps you identify the product. It is not the reviewer’s photo.

Submitting a review

• You agree to meet the First-Hand Standard and follow every rule in the Review Guidelines.
• Everything you tell us in the form must be true, including your answers about gifts, incentives, connections with the brand, use of AI, and publication elsewhere.
• Each person may post one review per product. Contact us if your experience changes.
• Every review is approved by a moderator before it is published. We may ask for proof of ownership, ask questions, request edits, edit out prohibited content, or decline a submission. We have no duty to publish any review.
• We may re-check a published review at any time, and hide or remove it if it breaks our rules.
• We may restrict posting from, or block, anyone who repeatedly or seriously breaks the rules.

Your content and license

• You keep ownership of the text and photos you submit.
• You give Tareloom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your content on Tareloom to operate the platform. This includes resizing, compressing, or cropping your photos so they display properly.
• You confirm that you wrote the text, took the photos yourself, and have every right needed to share them. You confirm that your content does not break anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• You can ask us to remove your review at any time. We will remove it from the site within a reasonable time. Copies held by search engines or other sites are outside our control.

Using the site

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, or other automation to submit reviews or use the form;
• post fake, paid, swapped, or manipulated reviews, or use several identities to boost ratings;
• buy, sell, or trade reviews;
• copy Tareloom content in bulk, or collect it with automated tools, without our written permission;
• upload files that are harmful, or try to break, overload, or get around the security of the site;
• send reports you know to be false.

Links and retailers

The “Find Best Price” button is an affiliate link to a retailer. We may earn a commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which reviews are approved. Read the Affiliate Disclosure.

Retailers are separate businesses. Their prices, stock, delivery, returns, and privacy practices are their own, and their terms apply when you buy from them. Tareloom is not responsible for what happens on their sites or in your purchase.

Not professional advice

Reviews describe personal experiences. They are not medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and speak to a qualified professional when your health or safety is involved. If a product caused harm, please report it to your local consumer safety authority.

Disclaimers

Tareloom is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any review is suitable for your decision. You use the information on the site at your own judgment.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tareloom is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that come from relying on a review, from a purchase you make from a retailer, or from content posted by users. Nothing in these terms removes a right or a liability that cannot be removed by law.

Reports and removal

If you see a review that looks fake, copied, misleading, or inappropriate, or if a photo or text belongs to you, use the report page. We review reports against these terms and the Review Guidelines. Honest negative feedback is not removed for being negative.

Changes

We may update these terms as Tareloom grows. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
