Communicating Space As A Vast Final Frontier

So I'm loving the game. It's very vast, even if it isn't on the same level of vastness as No Man's Sky. I think they still hit the mark of space exploration. Overall, it meets my expectations, as someone who loves space sci-fi, while still maintaining the Bethesda charm from their previous games. From my play on SeriesX, I'm all in, dedicated, there's plenty for me to do. Couple of points on gripes and approvals for the game: The little to no enemies, I like that they have random spawn ins with the ships landing which I'll admit could be increased but while talking about planets & roaming around on them, the excuse for no land vehicles is pathetic like just copy Mass Effect & put the Mako in already. Poor excuse being it would change how you'd explore according to Todd, meaning you'll go by things faster, etc, won't be able to absorb. Don't speak for me on what I'd do with my land vehicle respectfully Todd & how I'd explore. Everyone's different. If ppl, go by stuff too fast in their own playthrus sounds like a personal problem. Maybe it would teach them to be more observant if they actually take in their surroundings rather than just "let me get to from point A to point B fast!" I'm fine getting combat in on meet-ups at abandoned facilities or random ship landings. Admittedly, I'd like to see patrols like the thiefs that you'll come upon or certain factions you encounter, just like how they have it Fallout 4 & Skyrim. I myself was hoping for an immediate load up time rather than load screens like we're back in Skyrim or Fallout 4. I think the menu is fine. I would've liked some editing abilities with the Chronomark Watch (especially since I have it in person). Scanning needs to be more detailed than a few descriptions of temperament of creatures, then for the ground or liquid elements of the periodic table. I would've liked that expanded upon as I come from the days of Metroid Prime, the most descriptive game when it comes to scanning that I've ever played that's available on consoles & pc (emulation). So scan game from them needs to be upped significantly; I like they show elements of the periodic table the planet you're on is comprised of but they could do more along with displaying more info other than just temperament for animals and materials they provide should you "farm" them. I like the topographical design theme of the Surface Map, but talk about them clearly asking themselves, "can we just get by, making it blue & think they'll just accept?" Todd & Team goes, "Let's try it!" Guys everyone noticed it doesn't work well. Even the topography needs to be a bit more rigid in detail. I'm ok with the unnamed citizen npcs but some of them look pretty flat. Another thing that would've been a good type of different since the emphasis is so much on your ship like Arkham Knight has much emphasis on use of the Batmobile, is if you could've called in an airstrike with your ship, remotely controlling it, so you could possibly take down another one that may be making a getaway whether your a pirate type of character, ranger, soldier, whatever. That would've been truly next-gen to add something I think ppl would've adored. But unfortunately, just dogfighting in space (which is still big & extremely appreciated), hilariously space jumping & ignoring hails that way can skip being scanned for contraband haha! & being able to kind of feel the size of planets but sadly not being able to fly on to them manually which is another gripe of mine. While also on the topic of next-gen, no performance mode for SeriesX|S? Really, if we already have load screens back, how can we say that it's not possible to have performance mode? Gripes of Mine Summary 1. Prefer enemy patrols like their prior games 2. Editing Chronomark Watch display features 3. Scanning needs to be more detailed 4. The surface map needs TLC 5. Not being able to remote control your ship 6. No land vehicles 7. No Performance Mode Approvals 1. Space Dogfighting 2. Exploration 3. Immersive Quests/Lifestyles Ppl Can Live 4. Creation 5. Attention to Detail 6. Keeping Interests Piqued 7. Still Looks Beautiful Even W/out Performance Mode **Overall** I'm still giving this game a 7/10 because it delivers as it has kept me sucked in for 3days 6hrs 12mins and I have not played another game since. They have accomplished what a flagship should do to me more importantly a flagship under the Xbox profile in today's time, which is sadly almost near to non-existent due to how Xbox has been handling themselves, especially this generation, the amount of flagship exclusives have gone down immensely. So this was extremely refreshing to see from them. It delivers, reconfirming the message yet again one game can actually make a difference. B4 I could not in good faith recommend a SeriesX|S to some1 with nothing to offer nextgen game wise from Xbox. Now? If one doesn't want to go PC route, yes decent game.
