ThinOptics Always With You Premium Readers Are Easy to Carry

I really like the convenience of these ThinOptics readers. The glasses are incredibly thin and lightweight, and the keychain case makes it easy to keep them with me without having to carry around a bulky glasses case. The entire case is smaller than a business card, so it takes up virtually no space. It makes it incredibly easy to keep a pair of readers with me at all times. I’ll admit I was initially concerned about the armless design. I wasn’t sure how well they would stay on my nose without the arms to hold them in place. Surprisingly, they stay put very well. I suspect their extremely light weight has a lot to do with it. Once they’re on, I don’t really have to think about them slipping off. The deployment mechanism is another feature I really like. Just slide the lever on the case and the glasses pop right out, ready to use. When you’re finished, simply slide the lever in the other direction and the glasses retract neatly back into the case. It’s quick, simple, and much easier than dealing with a traditional glasses case. I attached mine to my keys, so I always have a pair of readers available when I need them. The 2.0x magnification works well for reading small print, menus, labels, and other things that are difficult to see without readers. They also seem very sturdy and well made. Despite being so thin and lightweight, they don’t feel flimsy, and I expect they should hold up well for many years with normal use. The anti-scratch coating is another nice feature, especially since these are designed to be carried around on a keychain. The price is definitely on the high side compared with a typical pair of inexpensive readers. However, I think the convenience factor makes them worth the extra cost. Traditional readers are easy to leave at home or forget to bring with you, while these are essentially always attached to your keys and take up almost no room. My wife likes them so much that she now wants a pair of her own, which probably says a lot about how convenient they are. Overall, these are a great solution if you frequently find yourself needing reading glasses when you’re away from home. They’re compact, comfortable, surprisingly secure, well made, and incredibly easy to use. The ability to have a pair of readers with you virtually everywhere without carrying around a traditional glasses case is what really makes these stand out.
