A VASAGLE Universal TV Cabinet that hides the subwoofer well

Where to begin! It’s a great looking credenza. In my opinion, the materials are a better grade than what I was expecting. In the hardware packs, you get one or two extras. Big plus for the consumer. I ended up needing one extra bolt. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS Take your time while putting it together. The instructions are acceptable but could be improved by being more specific in a couple places. The track the barn door rolls in is easily mounted upside down. It’s an easy fix, I just didn’t want to go back. The doors work perfectly. When mounting the last part, the top, you may need to use a drill and bit just a little bit bigger than the top hole. Do not drill top and bottoms holes on each side, only the top. The top of my unit was so close, without opening the top holes a tiny bit, the 4th bolt would not line up properly. You might only need to enlarge one hole but for the sake of trying it out several times, enlarge the back two bolt holes, one or each side. They are not threaded, just a bit to small to allow for the offset of the bolt into the top. The tolerance was too close. Easy fix. Fair warning, there is a small piece of wood in the center, between the top and the upper shelf. The instructions indicate to attach it, then the top, then the end pieces (legs with screens). If you follow the instructions, there is a big chance you will damage the wood. I strongly recommend attaching both ends of the credenza first. With it standing, attach the small wood block section. (See 4th pic). Don’t snug the screws down until the top has been properly secured. I picked this credenza for several reasons. Its appearance is appealing. The sound bar is the Samsung Q990b, 48 1/2 inches long, credenza 53 1/2 inches wide. Two and a half inches to spare on each side of the credenza offers some protection for the sound bar. It has up firing speakers. I could have mounted the sound bar on the tv wall Mount but I was wanting to make sure nothing hindered the up firing speakers. 👍 Another BIG plus is the Samsung Q990b subwoofer fits just about perfectly in the center opening. Obviously don’t use the center shelf and it sits there beautifully. Maybe 1 inch clearance on the top and about 2 inches clearance on each side. Zero rattle, zero unwanted sounds … and it actually sounds better. Why does it matter? Typically, every subwoofer becomes the elephant in the room. It doesn’t hide any where! It becomes the third person on a two person date! LOL. The right credenza eliminates the problem of placing the subwoofer. If you have ever used surround sound with a subwoofer, you know exactly what I am talking about. Disclaimer! I don’t work for or with any of the products mentioned. I needed a good looking piece of furniture to meet a specific need I had. I checked about 65 credenzas before I bought this one. It was exactly what I needed to have a sweet entertainment set up. I still have a Nintendo to place on the left side and the cloth box to hide behind the barn door. When I finish adding the toys, devices and equipment, I will address the wiring. The only thing plugged in at the moment, the Samsung 85” QLED TV and Q990b Surround Sound system. I hope you found something useful in my review.
