Webetop Under Bed Storage Containers: Well Made and Quick to Build

I ordered the Webetop Storage Bin kit on September 20th. They would be ideal to help me organize my home office. I opened the box the day it was delivered and looked inside the box, thinking, ‘I'd better clear off a spot on the tool bench in the garage and budget over an hour to put them together.’ I was dead wrong. On October 7th, I carved out that hour. I started inspecting the kit before I took it out to the garage. The parts were so clean, I decided to put the two bins together on the dining room table. Metal parts are made in a type of factory that is often a dirty place. It has been my experience that metal parts in a kit like this are often oily and have small metal shavings. These were CLEAN! My second impression was the quality of the parts. All of the components were well-made. You can tell that by not only their appearance, but also how easily and perfectly they go together. I also judge a kit by the hardware, the nuts and bolts. This kit’s hardware was excellent. Look at the pictures of the machine screws. First Rate! My assembly time was also way off. I easily put both together in under half an hour. The kit came with two Allen wrenches, or hex keys. They give you an extra, just in case you misplace one. However, I sped up the process with an electric screwdriver with the proper hex bit. The drawings were self-explanatory, and this kit was VERY EASY to put together. We store most of our stuff in Uline Bankers Boxes. You can see in the photos, I transferred my computer travel bags from a Bankers Box to the Webetop bin with room to spare. With the clear top, I will be able to see the contents even when zipped up. There is a clear pocket on the left side where you can slip the supplied 3.25” by 2” card with an inventory of what’s in the bin. You can write on both sides. Or just write Summer Clothes in bold letters. The supplied wheels are excellent, and two for each kit are locking. These are not screw in, but are press-fit, and they do take a good amount of pressure to seat. It’s best not to try to muscle them in, just a constant amount of lighter pressure as you rotate them. The Webetop bins are a much more attractive, practical, and useful storage option than anything I have used in the past. These might even be good for cross-country road trips. I plan to buy more.
