Wohomzy Thermal Door Curtain Helps Insulate a Camper Slider

So far, it's great! We bought this for the sliding glass door on our travel trailer we're currently staying in full time both for some privacy (the vertical blinds that were originally over the door came all broken so we removed them) and to help insulate. We're going into our first winter in this used 2011 camper & the insulation is not great at all then the huge sliding glass door in the living area really lets all the cold in! We looked at multiple of these thermal door curtains & this was the first one that had the magnetic opening on the side instead of straight down the middle & was decently priced. Only one side of the sliding door actually opens so having the magnetic opening in the middle would have been pretty inconvenient, especially if your hands are full trying to come inside. This one has the opening over to the side and it's reversible so it doesn't matter whether your door opens on the left or right side. I can legitimately feel around a 10° difference at the door & in the living area since installing this! When you open the flap, you can feel all the cold air between the curtain & the door that's being kept out! This is gonna help save propane not having to run the furnace as often because all the heat doesn't escape out the huge glass door. Installation is also SUPER easy! It comes with Velcro and black push pins that you can add to the corners or wherever you think you'll need extra security. We ended up using the Velcro & a staple gun to add a couple staples along the top & a few along the sides instead of the push pins so I can't say for sure how secure the pins will hold but I honestly don't think we even needed the staples. The Velcro seems like it's pretty secure on it's own! We only added staples because we have a big rowdy dog & a teenager 😂 It looks great with the gray color & the quilting pattern plus I got the variation that has the window so we can see outside without opening the curtain & letting heat out/cold in so it's awesome! Sometimes the magnets don't immediately pull themselves back together fully but I honestly think that's because of the way we installed it- it's pretty tightly pulled to keep it secure but still be able to close. 85% of the time it closes on it's own and the other times, we just give it a bit of a nudge at the top (around the window) and it makes the connection the rest of the way down on its own so it's not an issue whatsoever. Overall, it looks great, works amazingly so far & feels like it was a great investment for our camper! I'll try to come back and update later on once it's been used a while but we've had it hung up for a little over a month and it looks & functions just as it did the day we put it up through us going in & out multiple times per day. Highly recommend!!
