Customer Finds the MELOPHY Air Cooler Easy to Use and Great for Sleep

This is the first time I've used a humidifier and I'm glad I have this one. It's the perfect size, easy to operate and looks great. There are multiple settings with regard to the fog level, the light level, time from 1 hour to 12 hours or continuous mist, setting the amount of humidity, and putting the unit to sleep. You have the option of using the touch pad or using the remote control. The fog level is from a lighter fine mist to a heavier thicker mist. We used this for two nights, the first night on the light and the second on the heavy setting. We both slept really well with the heavy mist. Better than we've slept in a long time. I definitely woke up feeling more awake and have more energy today than I usually do. Also, I don't feel like the Sahara desert is living in my throat 😁. There is an option for the light on the side for how deep of a color you want it. It does change colors and goes from very dark, then lighter and lighter to off at the touch of a button. The front of the unit will stay on unless you push the button to put it to sleep. This does not turn the unit off, it still operates perfectly just turns the front panel off with the exception of a very tiny half moon in the bottom left corner. You have the option of setting a time limit from 1-12 hours, which is perfect for sleeping or being in one room for a limited amount of time, or it can stay on continuously. I filled it about 3/4 of the way full and used it for 9 hours the first night and 10 hours the second night. There is still a 1/4 of a tank left. We have not tried adding essential oils yet to it but may do that later. Oils cannot be added directly to the water tank but they do have a little area where it can be added so when the fog comes out the scent should immediately be picked up. The humidity level is an option of 40-90%. The optimal is somewhere between 60-65% but is personal preference. It's easy enough to choose which you prefer. When you first turn on the unit it will display the current humidity level in the room. Once the unit reaches the humidity level you have chosen it will pause until the level goes down and then starts up again. The tank is very easy to remove and clean out. Make sure to follow the instructions as there is a piece of packing material on the bottom that needs to be removed before you use it. This is one of my favorite appliances. I am very happy with it and will use it every night.
