Must Read before Buying this camera. ALL PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE USEFUL FOR YOU

Pros: 1. A significant advantage is the ability to mark different types of motions with distinct colors in the playback timeline. This feature allows for effortless location of specific motion events. 2. Unlike other brands, this camera does not require an active internet connection when connected to the same WiFi network( LAN). This results in faster camera performance. 3. Assigning a static IP address is possible, which is beneficial for various applications, including NAS, RTSP, and third-party apps. 4. The camera features good starlight night vision. 5. Multiple types of detection and related alerts can be assigned. Cons: 1. The motion/person alerts notification sounds cannot be customized for each camera, resulting in confusion when trying to identify which camera detected motion. ( This is Highly Require) 2. The audio quality is extremely weak and unusable, with cracking sounds. Despite a firmware update, the issue persists. The microphone is also not sensitive. 3. The date and time display location is fixed on the screen and cannot be changed. This can sometimes cover/block important areas on the screen. The relocation option on display is required. 4. The video quality cannot be reduced below 1080p. Unlike other Tapo models( see attached images), which offer lower resolutions like 340p and 720p, this limitation necessitates a high-capacity SD card. I use a 128GB card, which can barely store a week's worth of data. Some camera brands offer the flexibility to set different resolutions for live streaming and recording, but this feature is also not available in this model. 5. The camera's performance requires high internet bandwidth for live viewing and playback. This can be problematic in areas with poor mobile network coverage or low data speeds. This problem can be overcome by offering low resolution video (340P/720P) which is not present in this model. 6. The camera offers half and full duplex audio conversation options under separate tabs, which seems unnecessary. 7. The lack of dual-band WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz) limits the camera's performance and reliability. 8. The speaker symbol is misleading, as it represents the microphone rather than audio output. 9. Changing the WiFi network requires resetting the camera, which is inconvenient. 10. Motion detection scheduling is not given, leading to false motion alerts during the daytime due to tree shadows. Motion detection scheduling is required. 11. There is no volume control for camera alarms.
