Great board for a very competitive price.
I used to be and avid longboarder but It has been a while since I have rode a longboard. I have friends who have the more expensive penny brand board and I compared this board to theirs. Based on looks a lone the boards look identical and the build quality seems to be pretty close as well. The only difference was the logo and the price tag. This board did take a little time for me to feel comfortable on because I have pretty big feet and this board is pretty small so it was fairly awkward at first. After getting down the riding part on this board I could better evaluate it. To start this board seems very durable and it doesn't seem like it will snap (My friend had a penny board that snapped on him so this is something I feared). This board also seems pretty stiff, I weight around 130-140 and it doesn't flex a ton under my feet. The board rides fairly smooth and seems to turn well just by leaning though I prefer using the kick tail (I would still recommend loosening the bushings on the board as this can help a little with the turning). As for the hardware of this board, to sum it up it is not the best but it is sufficient. Initially the wheels barely spun on the board but after riding it the bearings loosened up on two of the wheels and they spin great but the yellow and green wheel barely spin still (I plan to try cleaning the bearings and loosening those wheels to see if it fixes anything but I will probably end up replacing them with Bones bearings down the road). The wheels on the board are good enough I don't think they need to be changed and I don't have any plans on changing them out, they are a little hard but there is nothing wrong with them. The trucks are fine they look a little cheap but they still look like they will last and I doubt the will cause any problem in the future. The bushings are pretty hard and I plan to get slightly softer ones for the front as I plan to ride this board mainly in the city (softer bushings provide allow better turning but if you go too soft the board can hit the wheel and cause you to fly off the board so you have to be careful). Overall I think this board seems pretty stable and like a well built board. It is very comparable to a penny board at around half the price. There are some hardware aspects I would like to replace down the road but if you are just keeping it stock I think it is a great option and it is very ride-able without changing anything. I haven't been able to put this board against the test of time yet but it seems like it will hold up and I am confident in the quality of this board. Pros: -Good board -Great price (half that of a penny board) -Works pretty well stock -Good turning -Stable -Seems to be of good quality Cons: -Some hardware parts could be better -Inconsistency in bearings -This is just my pet peeve but I hate branding so I plan to remove the logo
