I really like these skeletons

Let me start by saying I really like these minis and I will buy them again. Lessons learned while building these little dudes: 1. Use liquid plastic cement. I use the testors stuff, a bottle will last forever and it has the precision tip you'll want for these tiny attachment points. I tried Gorilla glue gel superglue first (my go-to for resin and metal as well as larger plastic kits) and found it lacking for these. You definitely want the sturdier bond of a plastic solvent. 2. Start from the bottom up and glue these in batches as you go. Base, then feet, then legs, torso, arms, head, then weapons. It will save you a huge hassle of trying to glue up one mini at a time for these guys. The attachment points are really small and dont have a load of surface area so you want those to be really well-set before moving on. 3. Watch when you clip out the heads, there is a spine/neck on them that looks like sprue at first glance. You'll need that to attach to the torso. I clipped four skulls at the base when prepping before I saw it. Luckily each sprue of six skeletons comes with ten different heads, so there were plenty of extras to fix my mistake. 4. A set of articulated clamps makes these a breeze to put together. I use the old citadel colour painting handle with clamping arms, but I dont know if they make it anymore. Any assembly stand with bendable clip arms would do. Pros- These models are great for making loads of basic skeletons. The sculpts are good, there is a ton of variety and they come with enough weapons for all skeletons to have swords, spears, or bows, as well as shields if you want. They are also super poseable however you want thanks to simple ball and socket joints at all the major attachment points. You end up with lots of extra skulls, weapons, and other bits left over to add to scenery, other models bases, etc. I build hundreds of minis a year and these will definitely be my go-to for skeletons moving forward. They also come with water-applique decals (think temporary tattoos) to decorate the shields with after you paint them. These are a nice touch that I have only previously seen with Games-Workshop models. Cons- These minis are capital-F Fragile. I broke two sets of legs before I figured out the best method for putting these together. They also do not come with instructions, so if you haven't put together a bunch of mini sets before, you might have some struggles without instructions, but at the end of the day, none of it is too tricky of you know what a skeleton looks like. I would definitely recommend these for anyone playing DnD or other fantasy games and need a good load of two dozen skeletons.
